Free Clipart Websites

Clipart! Or is that a piece of clip art? This may be as contentious as to how to pronounce.gif. We combed through over 20 free clipart websites that claimed to be amazing and whittled the list down to 11 free clipart websites. The following criteria were used to evaluate free clipart downloads:

1- What quality is the clipart?

2- What type of usage is allowed?

3- Do we have to register to use the site?

4- What other features does the site have?

5- Is it really free?

6- How cluttered with ads is it?

7- Do they have a large selection?

8- What image types do they have? Must have at least .gif or .png.

The ranking of the websites is subjective, despite the fact that numerous criteria were verified. Therefore, peruse them all to determine which ones best match your requirements.

11 Best Free Clipart Websites You Can Use

1. Vecteezy

Free Clipart Websites

Vecteezy is a member of the Eezy network of design-related sites. They claim to contain millions of images; however, they are a mix of free and fee-based images. The quality is high, and the file types supported are .jpg and .eps. Each file looks to be a zip file containing both .jpg and .eps versions. The site can be searched. You are not required to register, although you may. You are just required to suffer two ads on every page. One of those is typically a large Shutterstock advertisement that blends in with the rest of the site, making it easy to click on accidentally.

2. Clker

Free Clipart Websites

Clker appears to be the most popular site on other websites’ rankings, and for a good reason. It’s a large site with thousands of high-quality, royalty-free images suitable for any occasion. Registration is not required, although you may do so if you choose. The majority of images are .png, and you can change the clipart using their web-based image editor. Additionally, searching for images is straightforward. Finally, Clker is an uncluttered experience, with only two ads on every page.

3. Vector Portal

Free Clipart Websites

Vector Portal is an accurately called application. With thousands of free, royalty-free .ai and .eps images to choose from, you’re sure to find the free clipart downloads for your next project. Editing them may need the use of an image editing program such as the open-source and free GIMP or Adobe Illustrator. We observed an average of four ads per page.

4. Free PNG Img

Free Clipart Websites

Additionally, Free PNG Img is exactly what it claims it is. It’s a reliable source for free .png clipart images of just about everything in their library of over 50,000 images. However, the license Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International governs usage. As a result, usage must be credited and cannot be utilized commercially. The images are of high quality and are accessible in the .png format. They can, however, be converted to .jpg and .ico files on the site. This is a convenient feature that does not require registration. With only four ads on each page, it’s worth a look.

5. All Free Download

Free Clipart Websites

All Free Download demonstrates that a large lot of innovative sites are not called creatively. The images are free for download and may be used royalty-free with proper attribution. We don’t know how many images they have, but it’s a reasonably large variety with a high level of quality. The images are accessible in the following formats: .jpg, .eps, and .ai. Unfortunately, three ads on each page, plus a pop-up throughout the download process, make the site a little obnoxious to use.

6. Public Domain Clip Art

Free Clipart Websites

Public Domain Clip Art’s superpower is that all of the free clipart downloads are public domain. As a result, you may utilize it whatever you like. With over 25,000 images, some of which are of high quality, there is a lot to sort through. However, the three ads on each page do not significantly contribute to the confusion. All files are in the .png format.

7. MyCuteGraphics

Free Clipart Websites

MyCuteGraphics’ images have a distinct flair. They’re adorable. These images are ideal for scrapbooking and are intended for personal, educational, or non-profit use only. All clipart on this page is high and of the highest quality. There is no requirement to register in order to download. The following file kinds are supported: .png, .gif, and .jpg. Additionally, there is no advertising.

8. SweetClipArt

SweetClipArt is pleased to offer a selection of free clipart downloads. The output is of high quality, and the license is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. You may use the clipart in non-commercial projects with appropriate attribution. The site is clean, with only two ads on each page. The file types .jpg and .png are supported.

9. Artvex

Artvex offers over 10,000 clipart images, but they are of low quality and are only available in the .gif format. Although it is royalty-free, the link to their terms of usage is no longer active. It’s usable with three minor ads on each page.

10. Classroom Clip Art

Classroom Clip Art includes both free and commercial clipart. The free clipart downloads are a reduced size of the original images and include a watermark. You can access all the larger versions for roughly $20 per year. For you, the high quality may be worth it. The following file kinds are supported: .png, .gif, and .jpg. With a premium subscription option, five ads on each page appear excessive.

11. Absolutely Free Clipart

Absolutely Free Clipart has a small selection of images (just over 5,000), and the clipart is fairly basic. All images are in the public domain and are saved as .png files. With only two ads on each page, navigating the site is simple.

Bonus: Wikimedia Commons

Given the similarity of the last two sites, we felt we owed you a bit more. While Wikimedia is not a clip art site, it does contain images, sounds, and movies. From the public domain to a variety of Creative Commons licenses, usage rights are available. It is entirely up to the resource’s submitter. What matters is that they’re free, and there are plenty of free clipart downloads available. Additionally, there are no ads.
